  • If in Washington Stop and visit this unique place. Get a tour as there is a lot to see and you will miss some if by yourself.

  • Very nice house, very neat and educational!
  • This is a neat museum. It's interesting to see how our southern ancestors lived. It is a beautiful house, full of a nice collection of furnishings and memorabilia.
  • Great experience . All Americans should visit.
  • This historic site really reflected the budget cuts our state is facing. They bumped admission up from $3 to $4 and don’t run the heat in most of the building. When we arrived the two staff were upstairs trying to prevent a leak in the roof from damaging the furniture and antiques. It’s a shame to see these places and buildings that hold so much history have to struggle to stay open.
  • It's a place to learn more about our history and it takes me back to the days where you have to earn your keep.
