  • The old white guy on the gate is rude. I was about to pay the gate and he said “ do you speak english?” just because I have a brown skin doesnt mean I dont know how to. and why would you even ask...

  • The pictures do not do this place justice. Pros: - limited parking keeps the crowds away and it feels like a private beach. - water is shallow very far out - modest waves - amazing sunsets...

  • It’s pretty. It’s small and quiet, I’ve taken my two small children there to play and have a great time in the sand, water, and playground. And also been with my husband to watch the sunset for a romantic quiet evening. Great for both. Parking free week days, $5 on weekends. Palm trees so it’s tropical but also still gives you a rural central Florida feel.
  • This is good for a quick trip to the beach. $5 to park, has a snack bar and restroom. Make sure you check the tide chart if you want to swim, most times there is no water to swim in. Great for sunset views, there is normally not a charge to park at that time. County does clean up the sand.
  • Love Pine Island. It's a beautiful local beach with the most beautiful sunsets. Although I didn't capture the sunset this trip around to display pictures, it's still a "must see" for travelers/visitors. They have also built a fun playground for the little ones and provide food and restrooms.
  • First time here! Love that it's the ocean. It wasn't busy when I went so plenty of beach space to claim. Very clean beach, people respectful of your space. People considerate of their music (not blaring for all to listen). Covered picnic tables, grills, playground, and a Cafe to order snacks like hamburgers and French fries! Slushie machine too! Prices fair (cash only). $5.00 for parking. Beautiful drive in. Just a lovely time. Update 3/21/23; went for a sunset watch. Ample parking and the past few times I've gone...not charged for parking!
  • Very cool place. Not "really a beach" it is more of a bay beach. Very shallow water. Would be great to bring little kids. Sunset is beautiful and supposedly at high tide you can watch the dolphins swimming and eating baitfish. The park is very clean and the staff is friendly. Just get there very early. They only have a small amount of parking. It costs $5 to enter. Credit or debit card only.
