Appalachian Glass, Weston

Visited as part of a local tour. Todd did the demonstrating and was very personable and informative. He definitely has a passion for the glass industry both past and present as well as his families place in that history. The demonstration was top notch and Todd demonstrated several types of ways to blow glass. Afterwards, he was great at answering questions from the crowd. The store is well stocked with a variety of blown glass gifts made on-site. Not only do they have one of a kind works but they also do customization. Well worth the stop!

This is a great place to bring yourself and your kids and learn the history of glass blowing. They have a gift shop ( and have a web presence for those of you out of area) with all sorts of handmade items. Made in the USA, in Weston WV. The Turner family has passed down the glass blowing tradition from grandfather on down. They demonstrate how they make the things that they sell and have stemware too!

This place is awesome! Todd was super informative and we loved watching him work. Definitely a great place to visit if you are in the area.

Todd has made many custom pieces for me. Have given the lighted balls as wedding and baby gifts. I used to call him from Colorado to make things for me. Good people
