  • Very pretty clean lake Great place for locals to swim, picnic, fish, or enjoy the beauty Also a great place for anyone traveling thru Definitely worth a see
  • Great park level sites, 50/30amp, water and dump stations.
  • Just an awesome place to camp and mountain bike. Clean bath house's. Very well marked trails. Got rained on the last 3 miles of the ride. Those trails flow like a creek when it rains hard. Very friendly and helpfull camp ground host's. If you want fire wood don't forget to bring cash. Camp site's get reserved fast. Plan ahead. Water and electric at all tent sites, that's very nice to have. It is a walk or short bike ride to bath house. Overall a great place.
  • Bandits Roost campground is great!! We visit here every summer. Love the swim beach. Bathrooms are old but very clean and sufficient. Quite a few empty sites even tho the website shows they are booked, frustrating.
  • Great ACOE campground in Wilkesboro NC. Big shady sites with plenty of depth. Well kept up campground with clean restrooms and bathhouse. Friendly, knowledgeable staff to assist if needed. We've been camping here for several years now and keep coming back. At $28 a night ($14 if you have the senior lifetime pass!), you can't beat it. Electric & water only but there's 2 dump stations. Utilizing the restrooms & bathhouse my wife & I can camp 4 nights / 5 days without filling our holding tanks. There are 2 really nice tent loops also not counting the group tent site. All amenities are listed on there official site, so check that out.
