Apple Annie's You-Pick Orchard, Willcox

SOOOOOOO worth the 3 hour drive from Phoenix!! Was surprised with a trip down to Apple Annie’s for my birthday (all I wanted to do was go Apple picking) and it was amazing! We loved getting to pick delicious apples (which we made 4 bomb Dutch apple pies out of and still has so many apples leftover!) and then having some classic cheeseburgers for lunch with warm apple pie a la mode! Can’t forget the apple cider donuts. And picked up a strawberry rhubarb jam that I’m obsessed with! Definitely easy to spend all your money here! ;) But we thankfully saved some money to head on over to the pumpkin patch where we picked beautiful peppers, pumpkins, spaghetti squash, the most delicious beets ever and ENORMOUS sunflowers! And only $10 for 6 giant flowers?? I was like a kid in the candy shop I was so happy. It was a truly beautiful day! Can’t wait to come back!

We come to Apple Annie’s twice a year, once in the summer and once in the fall. We make a family day of it and always have such a great time. We usually visit both locations, and we take full advantage of any activities going on. This time we made for the last day of the Peach Extravaganza. We picked some peaches & apples. Then of course we took our semi-annual pictures in “The Big Red Chair’. Then we also made a stop at the Bakery and bought a few delicious and unique goodies. Then it was off to the U-Pick Veggie location. We picked up some delicious tomatoes, zucchini and a nice watermelon. Oh and I can’t forget the absolutely delicious honey sticks, those are an absolute must have. Apple Annie’s is a guaranteed day of family gun and delicious treats.

This is a fun place to take the family. It's been weeks and we're still eating dessert off of the fruit we picked. On a nice sunny day there aren't a lot more peaceful activities to pursue out and about with the family.

What a great day trip! Pack up the kiddos and head out to pick veggies & fruit for the family! I took my family many times and it is always a wonderful experience. Apple Annie’s have the best corn in the world! I go and stack up for the year!

Such a great weekend here in Willcox at Apple Annie's! Vendors for the first time at the craft fair, and we had so much fun! Apple cider donuts, apple cider slushies, peach iced tea, amazing burgers, and phenomenal apple crumb pie with vanilla ice cream! We even took some time to pick asian pears, apples and peaches. Looking forward to more terrific times.
