North Chagrin Reservation, Willoughby Hills

Really beautiful park with expansive trails of all types of terrain. Something for everyone and the pavilions and activity areas are kept up really well. As a somewhat experienced hiker, I will say that it was sometimes difficult to locate and follow the signs. Occasionally there was one sign with paths in multiple directions. Other than that, I would say this is a great place to get out and explore.

Really well maintained trails, boardwalk and access to a series of ponds and woods. There's a small, well-kept raptor center for birds that have been injured and can no longer survive in the wild. You could stay in the easy to traverse area by the entrance point at SOM Center Road, or hike deeper into more rugged trails and woods.

North Chagrin Reservation is one of the largest and most diverse Cleveland Metroparks areas. There are so many trails there to choose from with good variation in wildlife, scenery, hills, and trail types. It's very well maintained. This is one of my favorite places to experience being alone in the tranquil stillness of the forest. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of urban areas and decompress - this is the place. It's easily accessible by bicycle as well.

Castle is beautiful in the winter, The Nature center here is better than most ive been too, especially with toys for toddlers and very safe place to walk around inside. Love the bird watching area, birds came up to the window and got to see them up close. Staff was nice and friendly! Recommended a visit!!
