  • This park has everything. It has a playground for kids, lots of sitting places, many different spots to stop and look at the lake. The sunset views were so beautiful. I went at night and it seemed safe enough to me. Huge walking paths all the way around the lake that many people walk, run, bike. It's well worth the visit.
  • Tennis courts, skateboard park and a nice trail around the lake downtown. Path is extremely bumpy in areas so use caution. A lot of wildlife to see from the trees and flowers to the turtles, birds and gators. A few dog cleanup stations, wish there were a few more. A nice playground for the youngsters and also can rent kayaks and paddleboats. There are some pavilions for picnics as well and restrooms. There are some homeless people around the area.
  • We just discovered this gem! Such a pretty lake and surrounding park. The miles of walking/biking paths around the lake offer pretty views! There are paddle boat and kayak rentals available for $10-15/hour year round. There are tennis courts, a playground, bathrooms and plenty of parking. We can’t wait to go back to check out more of the walking paths. One negative. We saw a homeless man walking out of the brush and onto the path as we walked by. It startled me but didn’t feel unsafe. That being said, I would probably not walk this area alone or at night.
  • I absolutely love biking here and stopping to say hi to the cute turtles and gators! I also promise you the gators will keep their distance if you keep yours! They are very chill and are simply just minding their business!!! This is such a beautiful spot with so much wildlife and it gives me swampy fairy garden vibes. During the spring there are tones of dragonflies as well. 🖤🖤🖤 They even have canoes and paddle-boating. I have yet to try it but it’s definitely in the books!
  • Beautiful park. Playground. Rentals for kayaks, canoes. Areas where you can find out what type trees are in the area with QR codes (so good for scouts). Walking trails around Lake. Allowed to fish. Bathrooms open. May want to bring your own hand towels.
