  • We enjoyed walking around the waterfront area. There are a lot of small shops in the area and restaurants and bars to check out.

  • We enjoyed our walks along the Riverwalk. On a nice sunny day, there is no bad view, the experience is rejuvenating!

  • This was a nice walk at a leisurely pace. However, there seemed to be a lot of construction in the area.

  • This location was beautiful. I enjoyed walking here and seeing lots of cute boutiques to explore. You will enjoy the scenery, the restaurants and the shops along the way. Also just sit by the water and take the fresh air in :) Parking was 3$ an hour where I was, so be mindful of your time.
  • This is a great area the weather wasn't all that great but it wasn't all that bad either. A lot of history a lot of good shops and really good people in the area. We met with a few locals recommended a lot of different places since we were only in town for a couple of hours then we had to get up and go to work the next day but they made it very enjoyable very friendly very open didn't know Wilmington had that much to offer. It's been a long time since I've been there but things have definitely opened up to the public and different cultures and different backgrounds. I highly recommend this for individuals families and couples just to get away from the silent traveler enjoy.
  • Very nice walk along the Cape Fear River. Plenty of benches and chairs to sit, relax and people watch. Construction constantly going on. Some homeless people sleeping on the walk and/or on benches. Great views of the battleship and the bridge.
  • The Riverwalk was a great place to just walk and clear your mind. There are cute shops and restaurants and the sunsets are amazing! Highly recommend for a stroll with a friend, family, or significant other. Great way to spend the evening.
  • We spent a few hours here walking the riverfront. Nice walkway with plenty of benches to sit and watch. A few blocks past the convention center is the cottonwood center for dining, shopping, having coffee
