Thor's Well, Yachats

Just stunning! Check the tide tables before planning your trip so you can see it during high tide, it will absolutely not disappoint! The trail down was paved and easily walked. There are stairs to get onto the the cliff which is pretty easy to navigate. There were plenty of kids as well as dogs (on leash). We absolutely plan on coming back!

Awesome stop along the highway! The tide pools are really cool to see and the waves add a fun twist. Come catch a sunset for a really special time! On site is a parking lot and an easy way to get to the shoreline.

Yes, do visit. The parking can get full which means parking past the site and walking back to site along highway (carefully). This is an exploratory stop of interesting things to see and Thor's Well happens to be the star of the show but not the only thing to see. Enjoyed rock hopping. And listening to the powerful waves. Made an awesome video of the well but unable to post sadly.

Unbelievable. Low tide, high tide, it doesn't matter what time you arrive, just go. Go see this magical sight. This place is unique and beautiful, and I could sit and watch the power of the ocean collide with the Oregon coast for hours and hours. Don't pass it by without stopping. We never will.

Breathtaking of points of the oceans power and beauty! Limited parking off the side of the road. Very nice, well maintained, paved waking loop down to the rocky area. Some benches to sit and watch the ocean.
