  • Avalance peak is a super awesome, fairly short, but very strenuous hike. I consider myself to be in good shape and got my butt handed to me. It's only about 2 miles one way, but almost straight up...

  • Obvious trail, amazing scenery. Last portion is walking up rocks
  • It’s definitely worth to go on the peak. The view is spectacular. Kind of hard ~~ but u will enjoy it.
  • A steep climb, mostly vertical, occasional switchbacks, more aggressive than some of the trail guides suggest. However, the view during the climb and at the top is stunning!
  • This is a hike in Yellowstone National Park. It is a 4.5 mile out and back hike with an altitude gain of 2017 feet. While it is a hard hike, the views at the top are spectacular.
  • One of the best "quick" hikes in the park. The trail gets you to the top of avalanche peak and there are a few social trails that continue on.
