It was quite a treat to be able to see El Aguila in person after so many years of only seeing it in pictures. The only downside was that there was a huge beehive in the "beak" and bees were flying...

Clearly there is much to amaze in Uruguay with strange unexplainable things like this and the frog statue much praised in guide books. The Eagle is just odd in a confounding way. Clearly it is...
