Pore through the worldly possessions of one man, accrued over more than 50 years, at Granja Colonia. The owner, Eduardo Arenas, has been collecting keychains, drinks cans, ashtrays, perfume bottles, and pencils for half a century. He displays his extensive collection in a well-ordered exhibition space, with each item carefully arranged to form part of an impressive whole. Arenas even holds world records for his collections of pencils and keychains. After exploring the exhibition, sample homemade dishes at the on-site restaurant. • Excellent service, friendly and professional staff. Family friendly. Free entrance. Covid protocols. Interesting Record Guinness awarded collections displayed in some kind of museum which you can visit for free. There is a big shop next to the restaurant in which you can try and buy different types of jam, cheese and dulce de leche made in la granja. Original jam flavors like onion, earth plant, carrot, etc. I didn’t have the chance to try the restaurant. I recommend to stop by and visit it
  • Nice and calm places, along with Museum you have a dining and souvenir shop which offers jams, cheese and Dulce de Leche - prices are reasonable. Probably should have spent more than 20 minutes, in hindsight.
  • This is a stop for tourists on the way to Colonia. They say they have a museum, but in reality they just have a large collection of mostly pens and ashtrays. The main focus is the shop - cheese and marmalade - OK quality but nothing exceptional. It could be called a tourist trap but they do have free restrooms.
  • Odd 'museums', shop with cheese, wine and jams, and a gift shop. Most interesting were the old cars at the back of the buildings.
  • You can't miss this place. Great museum, great outdoor to enjoy and lovely place to eat. Plan to go there for 1h for the museum and another hour to eat and rest.
