  • It still is worth a look and the clothing is certainly unique, but you must recall that Pilioko is now quite old and on his own so can hardly be expected to show excellence. I am going back in early.....  more

  • This was one of my favourite experiences in Vanuatu and I’m surprised there are not more reviews. If you love art and galleries you must visit Aloi soon, as he is 85 and still able to talk to you about his life now. You drive in and literally everything is painted (mostly yellow), trees the pool, the dining tables. There are strange objects and newspaper clippings everywhere, roosters running around, his bedroom has stuffed dolls and an installation of hangers and T-shirt’s, it is truly something. Aloi is so eclectic and to see so much of his art in one place, his godson so passionate and his home with so much history and to share conversation and vodka was truly an experience I won’t forget.
  • I’ll be the first to admit that this isn’t my style of art, but meeting an artist like Aloi Pilioko was amazing. He truly lives his art, and his entire house is a spectacular tribute to that. Well worth a trip out there, and if Aloi is home, join him for a vodka (even if you think it’s too early).
  • Random place, but Aloi is friendly and it's certainly worth having a wonder around. Cost is 1000 Vatu per person. The actual location is down the driveway on the left (when coming from Port Vila) just after Foundation Bastien (a well-signposted gallery in the correct location on google maps).
  • I love this place will like to come someday !!!! From Ghana
