Create an itinerary including Presidential Palace Historical Site
Examine a Renaissance-influenced house at Presidential Palace Historical Site. Although the palace doesn't allow the public to access all of its sections, you can enter and explore some its halls for a fixed fee. Take the visitor's path through the expansive botanical garden towards the servant's quarters, where you can inspect Ho Chi Minh's stilt house. The rest of the palace remains reserved for diplomats and government officials. Use our Hanoi day trip site to add Presidential Palace Historical Site and other attractions to your Hanoi vacation plans.

  • Documents the life of Ho Chi Minh - It was pretty packed even at 3pm. The building was well maintained and the reservoir was beautiful. You can expect to spend around 1 hour plus at this place.
  • TLDR: Recommend tourist spot with a guided tour. The Presidential Palace was not on my list and I just happened to be there at the right time by chance. I did a guided tour so learnt a lot about Ho Chi Minh’s life while getting visual representation from the place in itself. There are a lot of intricacies which you will not appreciate if you don’t do this place with a guide. The place in itself is well maintained and they have done quite a bit to touch different aspects of his life beginning from his term ruling Vietnam, leadership up until his death. Note: Avoid visiting on a hot day because there is a fair bit of walking to be done.
  • Presidential Palace in Hanoi, its good for tourist you can find a history in this place. Not many instagramable area, its totally historical place
  • We were on a walking tour thru the area and got to see the Presidential palace but not go in it. They said he was a simple man and he didn't need a big place all to himself so he moved into a little house on the property.
  • An old building with French style :) look nice
