Da Bao Real Leather, Hoi An

We had this beautiful leather bag made in Da Bao, when we compared the prices and quality this shop came out top for both - very fair price for the top quality products they produce. The service is flawless, we had a custom design in mind which Trang gave her expert advice on to make it practical and she even took us to the factory to choose our leather colours. They went the extra mile to ensure we were happy with the bag and to make sure it was finished on time as we were leaving Vietnam in two days. Cannot thank the team enough and highly value their excellent attitude to making the customer happy! We loved it so much we put it to use right away on the flight home.

I had a lovely travel bag custom made by Da Bao. Was extremely impressed by the amount of customisation they were able to accommodate. Any combination of pockets (inside or outside), zips, handles, etc were possible. I was even able to get my initials embossed on the leather which is a great personal touch. I am thrilled with the quality of both the leather used and the craftsmanship of the final product. On top of this, I can’t believe it was fully completed within 24 hours. Highly recommend. Recommendations to staff: some good additions to make this experience even better would be the offer more fonts for the embossing, such as a classic serif font instead of the default sans serif. Also some more options for the bag lining material would be good, I think some checkered or tartan fabrics would make a good addition to the options.

We kept coming back! Bought a duffle bag, multiple wallets, backpack, belt, and a custom cuff. Every leather shop we visited paled in comparison of quality and customer service!!! The leather is top quality. Sitch work is impressive. Store retailers are not too pushy and are super friendly. The owner and main leather worker even custom made a unique leather cuff by image, and we got to watch him creatively piece it all together, a true artist. Highly recommend. These guys go over and above and you can't go wrong in Hoi An.
