Create an itinerary including Nha Tho Nui
Take in the imposing Gothic Revival edifice of Nha Tho Nui, whose tall belfry clock tower dominates the landscape of downtown Nha Trang. French colonial authorities sliced Hon Mot Mount in 1928, making a flat area for this hilltop church. Step inside the stone structure to see stained glass windows depicting scenes from the life of Jesus and numerous saints, most notably French ones such as Joan of Arc. Climb the tower for sweeping views of the city and sea, and explore a small grotto underneath the interior's tall arches. Put Nha Tho Nui at the forefront of your travel plans using our Nha Trang trip app.

  • Mass according to the sign is 4:45am and 5pm weekdays but at 12pm we could not access because a grand total of four locals were chanting away inside! Some nice stained glass and metal filigree...

  • Nha Trang Cathedral, also known as the Stone Church, is one of the symbols of this coastal city. The church opened in 1933 has a history of more than 80 years. There will be mass in the church. If you come to visit, you must keep quiet. The reason why the church is so named is because it was built by the French with stone on a hill here. This church is also deeply influenced by Gothic architecture. After careful maintenance by the bishops here, the church still retains the ancient and solemn beauty of European cathedrals. From the church, you can have a panoramic view of the whole city, which is very suitable for sightseeing and taking pictures.
  • Travelled Nha Trang Stone Church in May 2022 from India.. its a stunning architecture is a must visit.. good for offering prayers peacefully.. its closed after morning service and open again at 2pm. Located in the city center. Posting a few clicks from my camera
  • The church is very grand and ancient, and evidently has a lot of history and interesting details. Its design and architecture are beautiful. Moreover, its location sees breathtaking view and is a superb place for taking photos of the city.
  • Nha Trang Stone Church as it usually called is The Christ the King Cathedral - is serving as the Catholic Diocese of Nha Trang - was founded in 1886. The present outlook in the Gothic Revival style was built in 1928. The unique achtecture of Cathedral is well visible being on the hill right at the 6-way intersection of the city center. A must see for any visitors to Nha Trang.
  • I am a christian who has been visiting lots of churches and cathedrals over 50 countries, but Nha Trang Stone Church is first church ever with super rude security guards being stationed in front of gate ripping off tourists and shout tourists if tourists dont agree to pay so-called donations. This practice has been here for long already and I am so sad to see this again and again as I am living here in Nha Trang... I wish church side makes some steps to stop this unethical practice of security guards. Thanks a lot.
