Cuc Phuong National Park, Ninh Binh

One of the best national park in Vietnam! Can do a lot of things in here! Friendly to tourists. Can drive through the end of the park, which is about 18km. Then we can have a 6km trekking in the juggle. Took us about 3 hours to finish the trek. They have a few spots for camping as well. They also have accommodations inside, but have to book in advance. Worth to give it a try. Ticket is 60k per person. They have other things like botanic garden, primates rescue, and other activities. Good for family gatherings.

I visited this place in May. I rent a stilt house inside the national park and stayed there for 2 weeks. It is an interesting and peaceful place. If you want to escape from the world or seeking a refuge or want to back to your island " island of the self", I would like to recommend this place. Some places you can visit inside the national park: - Botanic garden - Observation hide - A spring (between observation hide and Mac lake) - Mac lake - Prehistoric cave - Ancient tree - Palace cave - 1000 years old tree - Cuc Phuong museum There are a few places that need a tour guide like: Silver cloudy peak, Muong village (I have still not gone to these places yet). The national park will be the most beautiful in April and May because there are many butterflies, flowers, insects and many things to see in these months. In the early morning, you can take a walk in the botanic garden, listen to the little birds singing, enjoy fresh air and nice breeze, and see everything sparkling in the sunlight. In the evening, you can walk around and see the fireflies. Or you can climb to the observation deck and have a sightseeing. I had peaceful days and a peaceful life there for 2 weeks. Hope you all enjoy this place.

Truly a wonderful place to see, a must visit for nature lovers. I went there on a misty day where there was light rain, however this only added to the grandeur of the reserve. I would have liked to see more wild animals. Once you reach the reserve, you will be driving by car/bike until you reach the center where there is a walkway in the forest, allowing you to contemplate one of Vietnam's most beautiful green spaces. And before you even get there, you will cross many attractions such as a beautiful lake, a prehistoric cave etc... Be ready to walk A LOT. I personally drove from Tac Coc to the reserve by motor bike, a highly recommended experience.

Average state park. We had a fun motorcycle ride inside the park and went to the cave. The entrance fee is 60k Dong per person. There are toilets at the entrance and at the end of the park. The cave was pretty cool, but nothing amazing. The trail was a bit slippery. It is a big park and definitely would suggest hiring a guide if you want to explore the depts of what it has to offer as it is missing signs for the trails and activities. Bring snacks and water with you.

We rode motor bikes here, park at the gate and pay 200,000 dong for tickets and guided tour of the monkey sanctuary and endangered turtle enclosure. After that grab the bikes go through the gate and take the right turn and you have 20km of good roads, camping spots and rain forest walks. It's around 5 degrees cooler which is a nice change. Enjoy 😉
