I enjoyed my river boat trip. A amazing beautiful peaceful place. Get there early to avoid the crowds . And give your self time to relax then a coffee, then book ticket Very easy to book a boat stress-free no problem 😊 . You get a little hassle from sellers but it's all good humoured fun. Please remember to tip the boat man or woman they work very hard. Thank you Vietnam for such a good time!!!!

We visited here in October. It's a pretty spot but quite crowded from my point of view. We had an excellent lunch at a homestay off the beaten track, which was quiet and peaceful with an attractive view. The boat ride was pleasant (it reminded me a lot of the boat ride in Yangshuo China) and the boat people have an intriguing way of rowing with their feet. Don't expect to have the river to yourself though.

We did a full day trip in Ninh Binh where we went for a boat trip at Tam Coc River. It was a pleasant experience where we could admire the beautiful mountains, cave formations and the surroundings. Very nice breeze and chilling sounds of the river where I was so calm that I almost fell asleep. There were 3 caves to go through and you will pass by each twice as it is a one way visit. The guide will row you back to the Dock. Highly recommend and definitely enjoyable. I love this more than my trip in Halong Bay.

This is a perfect spot for weekend getaway. Boating here is an out of the world experience. I really enjoyed even though it was hot and humid. The lady who was boating was very kind and you get to see beautiful caves and it's Amazing experience. For travellers it is a delightful experience and you can click good pictures also for a great Instagram story or posts. Must visit and highly recommended.

It was nice relaxing boat ride over the tam coc lake. You would see beautiful mountains, cave formations and nice pleasent surroundings all around. Although there would be a breeze suggest to wear shades and sunscreen on a hot day. The boat ride would also take you through 3 caves and you may also encounter sellers (bit of hassle but it's expected) and a floating market too. Please do tip the boat rower, these are hard working locals and they deserve it.
