Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Get to know Perth in a whole new way, exploring the picturesque eastern foreshore of the Swan River and discover Perth’s hidden gems off the usual tourist route! Our journey takes us along the eastern foreshore of Perth’s pristine Swan River through an urban wetland, a haven for native birds on the urban fringe of the CBD. Keep an eye out for dolphins and Western Australia’s iconic black swans. Just off the foreshore route is the small inlet Claisebrook Cove, one of Perth’s hidden gems. A hub of riverside cafes, bars and elegant homes, you could be forgiven for imagining yourself in a quaint European village. As we meander back through East Perth to the city, our route passes some of the city’s most beautiful heritage buildings including the famous Perth Mint, historic Government House and the lush Supreme Court Gardens.

Western Australia
Western Australia's almost 12,000 km (7,450 mi) of coastline is broken up only by oasis-like towns and cities. Most of the state, however, is an arid region of mostly uninhabited, infertile land with an untamed physical aesthetic. The harsh climate cultivates a laid-back lifestyle centered on the coast’s shaded enclaves and picturesque beaches. Australia’s largest state, with an area of 2.65 million sq km (1 million sq mi), Western Australia contains over a third of the country’s landmass but just 11 percent of its population. Plan your holiday in Western Australia and other destinations, from the rural, to the urban, and everything in between, using our Australia tour itinerary planner.
