The waterfall is near several aboriginal sites estimated at being around 20,000 years old. A lake formed by the cascading waterfall is a popular picnic spot, located just a short walk from the nearby village. You can swim or join the Darwin's Walk tour, named after Charles Darwin, who visited and researched the area. Be prepared for a lot of steps on the various walks offered, which can take you to the waterfall or to the nearby viewing platform.
