During your stay in Paris, how about doing something different and taking a hike in the most scenic countryside. This experience, in small group of less than 10, brings you in the footsteps of Vincent Van Gogh, the famous Dutch painter, from Pontoise to Meriel via Auvers sur Oise. He painted several famous art pieces in Auvers sur Oise (80 to be exact). He died in 1890 and is buried in the village along with his brother Theo. Our walk will also take you through the city of Pontoise, the countryside of the Vexin , in the quaint village of Auvers sur Oise and along the Oise river. PLEASE BE ADVISED that this is a 13km HIKE with several ups and downs. You need to be fit enough if you want to enjoy the walk.
