Explore an abandoned underground slate mine following the old quarryman's footsteps, with various challenges along the journey including; a zipline, abseil, boat crossing and a number of climbs. All of which are optional and can be avoided by more nervous participants. There will be options to learn about history and processes that created these caverns and tunnels, for those that are interested. This activity is very popular with families and school groups, but we also guide a number of couples and adult groups. There is about a 30minute walk up hill to approach this mine and at the end of the trip you'll emerge near the top of the mountain and hopefully have lovely views walking down.
