As a popular summer escape for residents of the Seattle area and tourists from further afield, Friday Harbor does not lack for a selection of accommodation. Most places sit in the historical downtown area. Here you'll find charming inns and bed and breakfasts, upmarket suites and spas, and more basic motels. A couple of guesthouses sit farther away from downtown. These offer more privacy, but you'll probably want to have a car if you choose stay at one. If you plan to arrive in summer, book your stay as far ahead as possible.
