Nestled among rivers and sand dunes along Lake Michigan, Oval Beach ranks as one of the top beaches in the United States, according to National Geographic Traveler magazine, The Chicago Tribune, and MTV. 11. Nelis' Dutch Village, Holland

Stop and smell the Gouda cheese at Nelis' Dutch Village, which brings to life the olden days of the Netherlands. Built according to typical Dutch architecture with a network of canals, the village provides insight into what life was like in an earlier time in the lowlands country. Try some clogs on for size (you can watch them being made at the wooden shoe factory) or take part in a traditional Dutch klompen dancing lesson. You'll have the opportunity to watch a demonstration on the making of Delft blue pottery, and learn about cheesemaking with the chance to sample some delicious Dutch cheeses.
