Sparkling Pointe Vineyards & Winery is one of those rare places in the world where you can taste top-notch sparkling wines produced in the traditional "methode champenoise." Founded in 1980, Bedell Cellars is a pioneering winery in the Long Island wine region dedicated to quality, creativity, and sustainable farming. Bedell has hand-crafted wines in small batches for 34 years using methods that define the regional style – artistically blending grapes grown in their unique maritime terroir. Bedell stands at the forefront of excellence and is widely regarded as the benchmark winery in the eastern United States. Bedell’s 2009 Merlot was the only red wine served at the 2013 Inaugural Luncheon, marking the first time in American history that a New York wine was served at a Presidential Inauguration.

As the only winery in Greenport and one of few wineries in North America designed to be LEED gold-certified, the Kontokosta Winery is an exciting destination for wine lovers and visitors to the East End of Long Island.

Ninety acres of vinifera grapes grow under the watchful eye of the soaring Osprey, our vineyard's namesake. Our state-of-the-art winery shows our commitment to fine wine making. A stop in our comfortable tasting room will certainly make your visit a memorable one. Our tasting room is open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We do extend our hours until 6:00 p.m. from Memorial Day through September for your tasting pleasure. Join us on weekends and don't forget to bring a picnic lunch. We have a patio with tables and chairs and huge sprawling lawns for your blankets and lounge chairs.

Orient Beach State Park is a 363acre state park located in the Town of Southold in Suffolk County, New York in the United States. The park is at the tip of the North Fork of Long Island.
Long Beach, located within the park, was designated a National Natural Landmark in April 1980 for its 2.5mi sand spit beach demonstrating plant succession from salt marsh to maritime red cedar forest.
The Orient Long Beach Bar Light, commonly known as Bug Light, is located inside the park.
The park offers 45000ft of bay frontage, and includes a beach, picnic tables with pavilions, a playground, recreation programs, a nature trail, hiking and biking, fishing and a food concession. The park is open throughout the year for day-use only.
Restrictions on boat accessIn 1997, park rangers began enforcing an existing no boating policy on Long Beach, leading to controversy and ticketing in 2000. State officials contended that renewed enforcement was enacted to protect the beach's value as a protected sanctuary for endangered birds such as the piping plover, in addition to preserving the beach's unusual maritime red cedar forest and other rare plants.
There is a common and roseate tern nesting area in the park. There are also eelgrass beds offshore.

Croteaux , located on the North Fork of Long Island, founded by Michael Croteau. It is the only vineyard in the USA dedicated exclusively to producing Rosé wines.
