Established after the turn of the millennium, in 2001, the town has quickly grown into a popular hub for tourism in the region.     Most visitors choose to stay east of the main township, at the base of the Century Express gondola, where a large selection of hotels, resorts, inns, and private chalets caters to all manner of guests. This area is particularly popular between October and April, at the height of the ski season, but the summer months also draw tourists interested in hiking. If you'd rather enjoy some memorable waterfront scenery, stay anywhere along Route 26 Highway.
