Just outside the medieval walls that have long protected the town, Obidos' range of lodging options near its historical center provides easy access to winding streets and main tourist sights by foot. Many of the hotels in the center are housed in historical buildings and mansions rather than typical cookie-cutter international chains, yet they still offer plenty of amenities including pools, restaurants, and comfortable rooms.
