10 days in Aruba & Curacao Itinerary

When vacationing on Aruba, don't miss taking a tour of Oranjestad, the capital of the small Caribbean island.

Bring the kids along to Donkey Sanctuary Aruba and Mangel Halto Beach. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Boca Cataavlina and Malmok Beach. Take a break from Oranjestad with a short trip to Museum of Industry in San Nicolas, about 30 minutes away. Miami, USA to Oranjestad is an approximately 6-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Miami to Oranjestad. In February, Oranjestad is somewhat warmer than Miami - with highs of 87°F and lows of 76°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Thu) so you can travel to Curacao.

Kick off your visit on the 24th (Fri): look for gifts at Little Switzerland and then visit Renaissance Mall & Rif Fort. On the 25th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: stop by Otrobanda, snap pictures at Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge, then get engrossed in the history at Kura Hulanda Museum, then look for gifts at Island Treasures Gifts and Souvenirs Curacao, and finally take a stroll through Punda.
