In the north-west part of Slovenia, Bovec sits in an area known for its rich and colorful culture and history.

Valencia, Spain to Bovec is an approximately 9-hour combination of flight, train, and car. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and car. Getting from Bovec to Piran by car takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a bus; or take a bus. Traveling from Bovec in June, expect Piran to be a bit warmer, temps between 32°C and 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Thu) early enough to drive to Ljubljana.
