The place where Cretan and Venetian cultures merged in the 13th century, Chania Town attracts throngs of tourists with its well-preserved medieval harbor.You'll find plenty of places to visit near Chania Town: Seitan Limania Beach (in Akrotiri), Samaria Gorge National Park (in Sfakia) and Balos Lagoon (in Kissamos). Tallinn, Estonia to Chania Town is an approximately 9.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of bus and ferry. Plan for a bit warmer temperatures traveling from Tallinn in July, with highs in Chania Town at 37°C and lows at 25°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 22nd (Sat) early enough to go by car to Rethymnon.

You can drive from Chania Town to Rethymnon in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. July in Rethymnon sees daily highs of 37°C and lows of 25°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Tue) to allow enough time to take a shuttle to Heraklion.

You can take a shuttle from Rethymnon to Heraklion in an hour. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. In July, daily temperatures in Heraklion can reach 34°C, while at night they dip to 26°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 28th (Fri) to allow time for travel back home.
