Expect much colder temperatures when traveling from Singapore in December; daily highs in Fukuoka reach 13°C and lows reach 5°C. Traveling by car from Fukuoka to Nagasaki takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. In December, daytime highs in Nagasaki are 13°C, while nighttime lows are 7°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Tue) to allow enough time to fly to Naha.

Start off your visit on the 12th (Tue): don't miss a visit to Makishi Public Market, make a trip to Kokusaidori, and then explore the historical opulence of Shurijo Castle. Getting from Nagasaki to Naha by flight takes about 3.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of train and ferry; or do a combination of bus and ferry. Traveling from Nagasaki in December, things will get somewhat warmer in Naha: highs are around 24°C and lows about 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 14th (Thu) early enough to fly to Miyakojima.

On the 14th (Thu), get outside with Sunayama Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: head outdoors with Toguchi no Hama, snap pictures at Irabu Ohashi, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Yonaha Maehama Beach.

You can fly from Naha to Miyakojima in 2.5 hours. December in Miyakojima sees daily highs of 25°C and lows of 20°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 16th (Sat) early enough to catch the flight to Ishigaki.

Kick off your visit on the 16th (Sat): kick back and relax at Yonehara Beach, explore the activities along Kabira Bay, and then look and learn at Ishigakijima Observatory.
