If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiport is Herat International Airport. Expect a daytime high around 43°C in July, and nighttime lows around 28°C. On the 24th (Wed), you'll travel to Mazar-i-Sharif.

You can drive from Herat to Mazar-i-Sharif in 13 hours. Traveling from Herat in July, plan for somewhat warmer nights in Mazar-i-Sharif, with lows around 34°C. You'll set off for home on the 26th (Fri).
