Höfn or Höfn í Hornafirði is an Icelandic fishing town in the southeastern part of the country. You can fly from Blaskogabyggd to Hofn in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of taxi and bus. March in Hofn sees daily highs of 5°C and lows of 0°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 26th (Sun) early enough to drive to Vik.

On the 27th (Mon), admire the sheer force of Skogafoss, explore the striking landscape at Dyrhólaey, and then kick back and relax at Black Sand Beach.

Drive from Hofn to Vik in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and bus. In March in Vik, expect temperatures between 4°C during the day and 1°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Mon) so you can drive to Reykjavik.
