On the 3rd (Mon), you're off to La Fortuna de San Carlos.

You'll discover tucked-away gems like Arenal 1968 Volcano View & Trails and Mirador El Silencio. Step out of the city life by going to River Rafting & Tubing and Zipline. There's still lots to do: surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, soothe aching muscles at Tabacon Hot Springs, explore by horseback at Arenal Wilberth Stables, and stroll through Arenal Oasis Wildlife Refuge.

Traveling by car from Liberia to La Fortuna de San Carlos takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi; or take a bus. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Fri) early enough to drive to Playa Flamingo.

Take a break from the city and head to Hacienda El Roble & Adventure Center and Horseback Riding Tours. Discover out-of-the-way places like Penca Beach and Las Baulas National Marine Park. Step out of Playa Flamingo to go to Playa Conchal and see Playa Conchal, which is approximately 32 minutes away. There's much more to do: kick back and relax at Playa Flamingo, make a trip to Playa Danta, explore and take pictures at Playa Dantita, and play a few rounds at Reserva Conchal Golf Course.
