Built on seven hills, Lisbon has experienced a renaissance in recent years, making it the cultural star of Portugal.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Chiado and Castelo de S. Jorge. Visit Mosteiro dos Jeronimos and Park and National Palace of Pena for their historical value. Change things up with a short trip to Quinta da Regaleira in Sintra (about 36 minutes away).
