Founded by the Spanish in 1521, San Juan is the oldest city under U.S. jurisdiction and one of the oldest in the Americas.
Kick off your visit on the 30th (Thu): soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers, view the masterpieces at Walter Otero Contemporary Art, see the interesting displays at Museo del Mar, then look for gifts at Ole Puerto Rico, then take in the exciting artwork at Galeria Botello, and finally get some fabulous bargains at Coach Outlet Store.
