One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.

Explore hidden gems such as Grevin Museum and Shinsegae Dept. Store Main. Visiting Bukhansan National Park and Cheonggyecheon Stream will get you outdoors. Manila, Philippines to Seoul is an approximately 7-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Philippine Standard Time (PST) to Korean Standard Time (KST) is 1 hour. Prepare for cooler weather when traveling from Manila in January: high temperatures in Seoul hover around 1°C and lows are around -7°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Thu) to allow enough time to fly to Busan.

Get some historical perspective at UN Memorial Cemetery and Cheomseongdae Observatory. Get in touch with nature at Songdo Beach and Gwangalli Beach. Take a break from Busan with a short trip to Gyeongju National Museum in Gyeongju, about 1h 15 min away. Fly from Seoul to Busan in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Expect a bit warmer temperatures when traveling from Seoul in January; daily highs in Busan reach 7°C and lows reach -3°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 23rd (Mon) early enough to catch the flight back home.
