Getting from Interlaken to Lucerne by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: take a train. In August in Lucerne, expect temperatures between 28°C during the day and 16°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Zurich.
