10 days in Tampa & Kissimmee Itinerary

Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Sun): snap pictures at Sunshine Skyway Bridge and then take a stroll through Ybor City. Keep things going the next day: walk around Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park, admire nature's wide array of creatures at Clearwater Marine Aquarium, then see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour, and finally tour the pleasant surroundings at Clearwater Beach.

Traveling by car from Tampa to Kissimmee takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train. In April in Kissimmee, expect temperatures between 83°F during the day and 65°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Fri) so you can drive to Tampa.

Explore Tampa's surroundings by going to Siesta Beach (in Siesta Key) and The Ringling (in Sarasota). Pack the 8th (Sat) with family-friendly diversions at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Enjoy Tampa some more: take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, go for a walk through Tampa Riverwalk, admire nature's wide array of creatures at The Florida Aquarium, and explore the world behind art at The Dali Museum.

Getting from Kissimmee to Tampa by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: take a train. You'll have a few hours on the 11th (Tue) to wrap things up before traveling home.
