Known as "Hollywood North," Vancouver boasts one of the largest film/television industries in the world, second only to Los Angeles and New York.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Museum of Anthropology and Granville Island Gallery. You'll get in some beach time at Kitsilano Beach and English Bay Beach. There's much more to do: wander the streets of Granville Island, take in the dramatic natural features at Vancouver Seawall, kick back and relax at Wreck Beach, and stroll around Stanley Park.

Fly from Toronto to Vancouver in 6.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and car. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 3 hours traveling from Toronto to Vancouver. Traveling from Toronto in April, plan for a bit warmer nights in Vancouver, with lows around 8°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 3rd (Wed) early enough to drive to North Vancouver.

North Vancouver — 1 night

Although officially a separate city, North Vancouver is actually a suburban area of Vancouver on the north shore of Burrard Inlet, a shallow-sided fjord.
On the 4th (Thu), see some colorful creatures with Sea Dragon Charters and then snap pictures at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.
