Lincoln — 1 night

Lincoln is the capital of the U.S. state of Nebraska and the county seat of Lancaster County. On the 17th (Mon), get a sense of history and politics at Nebraska State Capitol, see the interesting displays at Museum of American Speed, and then take in nature's colorful creations at Hamann Rose Garden.

Fly from Lincoln to Denver in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train.
