Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Dedicate the 8th (Fri) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. Next up on the itinerary: get a taste of the local shopping with Chihuly Garden and Glass, walk around Discovery Park, get in on the family fun at Seattle Great Wheel, and take a stroll through Pike Place Market.
