When traveling from Zagreb in April, plan for slightly colder days in Paris, with highs around 18°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 6°C. Caen is known for its historical buildings built during the reign of William the Conqueror, who was buried there, and for the Battle for Caen--heavy fighting that took place in and around Caen during the Battle of Normandy in 1944, destroying much of the city.
On the 3rd (Mon), don't miss a visit to Eglise du Vieux Saint Sauveur. On the next day, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Notre Dame de Grace, then make a trip to Saint Catherine's Catholic Church, then don't miss a visit to Vieux Bassin, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Eglise Saint-Joseph.
