Baku Old City and Baku Boulevard are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Museum-lovers will appreciate Heydar Aliyev Center and Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum. Dedicate the 2nd (Thu) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's much more to do: get a taste of the local shopping with Nizami Street/Torgovaya, don't miss a visit to Fountains Square, tee off at Dreamland Golf Club, and explore the world behind art at Museum of Modern Art.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Baku is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also drive. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Riyadh to Baku due to the time zone difference. Prepare for colder weather when traveling from Riyadh in October: high temperatures in Baku hover around 21°C and lows are around 14°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 4th (Sat) so you can fly to Ganja.

Start off your visit on the 5th (Sun): take a peaceful walk through Lake Goygol. On the next day, pause for some serene contemplation at St. John's Church, then look for all kinds of wild species at Maralgol lake, and then browse the different shops at Ganja Mall.
