Gobustan — 1 night

Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape (UNESCO Heritage) covers three areas of a plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art.
Kick off your visit on the 18th (Sat): don't miss a visit to Diri Baba Mausoleum. Keep things going the next day: make a trip to Mud Volcanoes and then see the interesting displays at Gobustan State Reserve.

If you're fed up of the concrete jungle, take a trip to Gabala for the perfect getaway.
Kids will enjoy Tufandag Winter Summer Resort and Gabaland. Step out of Gabala to go to Shamakhi and see Yeddi Gumbaz Mausoleum, which is approximately 1h 30 min away. Next up on the itinerary: get curious at Gabala Archaeological Center, steep yourself in history at Chukhur Gabala, contemplate the waterfront views at Nohur Lake, and take in the dramatic scenery at Seven Beauties Waterfall.
