One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.

Kochi (Cochin), India to Seoul is an approximately 13.5-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone difference moving from India Standard Time to Korean Standard Time is 3.5 hours. Prepare for a bit cooler weather when traveling from Kochi (Cochin) in September: high temperatures in Seoul hover around 26°C and lows are around 25°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Tue) early enough to fly to Gwangju.

Gwangju is the sixth largest city in South Korea. On the 14th (Wed), examine the collection at Gwangju National Museum, then take an in-depth tour of Gwangju Folk Museum, then examine the collection at Gwangju Museum of Art, and finally get to know the fascinating history of 1913 Songjeong Station Market.

Fly from Seoul to Gwangju in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Traveling from Seoul in September, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be slightly colder in Gwangju, with lows of 18°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Thu) so you can drive to Busan.

Museum-lovers will appreciate Busan Museum and Gyeongju National Museum. Visiting Haeundae Beach and Gwangalli Beach will get you outdoors. You can drive from Gwangju to Busan in 3 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or fly. In September, daytime highs in Busan are 30°C, while nighttime lows are 21°C. On the 17th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel to Icheon.

On the 18th (Sun), fly down the slopes at Jisan Forest Resort and then see the interesting displays at Icheon World Ceramics Center.
