One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Take a break from the city and head to Bukhansan National Park and Cheonggyecheon Stream. Museum-lovers will get to explore Gyeongbokgung Palace and National Folk Museum of Korea. There's still lots to do: admire the striking features of Changdeokgung Palace, take a stroll through Insadong, take some stellar pictures from N Seoul Tower, and see the interesting displays at Love Museum.

Kochi (Cochin), India to Seoul is an approximately 13.5-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone difference moving from India Standard Time to Korean Standard Time is 3.5 hours. Prepare for a bit cooler weather when traveling from Kochi (Cochin) in September: high temperatures in Seoul hover around 26°C and lows are around 25°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Tue) early enough to fly to Gwangju.

Fly from Seoul to Gwangju in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Traveling from Seoul in September, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be slightly colder in Gwangju, with lows of 18°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Thu) so you can drive to Busan.

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.

You can drive from Gwangju to Busan in 3 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or fly. In September, daytime highs in Busan are 30°C, while nighttime lows are 21°C. On the 17th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel to Icheon.
