Venice — 2 nights

City of Romance
Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Basilica of St. Anthony and Scrovegni Chapel. Get some cultural insight at Piazza San Marco and Basilica di San Marco. Step out of Venice to go to Padua and see Chiesa degli Eremitani - World Heritage Site, which is approximately 54 minutes away. There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Doge's Palace, take in panoramic vistas at St Mark's Campanile, browse the exhibits of Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and make a trip to Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari.
