Step out of Los Angeles with an excursion to Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim--about 34 minutes away. Pack the 9th (Tue) with family-friendly diversions at Disneyland Park. There's lots more to do: take a leisurely stroll along Santa Monica Pier, walk around Beverly Gardens Park, kick back and relax at Santa Monica Bay, and take a memorable drive along Mulholland Drive.

New York City to Los Angeles is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. You'll gain 3 hours traveling from New York City to Los Angeles due to the time zone difference. Traveling from New York City in May, you will find days in Los Angeles are somewhat warmer (75°F), and nights are about the same (59°F). On the 12th (Fri), you'll travel to San Diego.

Spend the 14th (Sun) exploring the fascinating underwater world at SeaWorld San Diego. There's still lots to do: get to know the resident critters at San Diego Zoo, examine the collection at Maritime Museum of San Diego, kick back and relax at Black's Beach, and stroll around La Jolla Cove.

Drive from Los Angeles to San Diego in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or fly; or take a bus. In May in San Diego, expect temperatures between 71°F during the day and 61°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 18th (Thu) to allow time for the flight back home.
