The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Step out of the city life by going to Bled Island and Vintgar Gorge. Get some cultural insight at Bled Castle and Museum of Pharmacy and Alchemy. Venture out of the city with trips to Bohinjsko Jezero (Ukanc Military Cemetery, Savica Waterfall, &more) and Church of St. Nicholas (in Spodnja Sorica). Spend the 23rd (Sun) exploring nature at Triglav National Park. Plan for somewhat warmer nights when traveling from Ljubljana in April since evenings lows in Piran dip to 9°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Kobarid.

Kobarid — 2 nights

At the very heart of picturesque Soca Valley, Kobarid delivers some of the most stunning views of Slovenia's highest peaks, as well as a chance to enjoy some exciting alpine rivers.
Kick off your visit on the 28th (Fri): see the interesting displays at Kobarid Museum, take in the spiritual surroundings of Italian Charnel House, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at St Mary of the Assumption church, and finally steep yourself in history at Outdoor Museum Kolovrat (muzej na prostem). On your second day here, contemplate the long history of Ravelnik Open Air Museum, paddle through the water with a kayaking and canoeing tour, and then take in the dramatic scenery at Kozjak Waterfall.
