Perth to Kangaroo Island is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train, bus, ferry, and taxi. You'll lose 1.5 hours traveling from Perth to Kangaroo Island due to the time zone difference. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Sun) so you can travel to Adelaide.

Adelaide exists contentedly as a cultured, diverse, and attractive city with a laid-back center, leafy residential districts, and an underlying cosmopolitan atmosphere.

South Australian Museum and Art Gallery of South Australia will appeal to museum buffs. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Adelaide Oval and Migration Museum. Getting from Kangaroo Island to Adelaide by flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of taxi, ferry, and bus. December in Adelaide sees daily highs of 30°C and lows of 17°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Thu) early enough to go by car to Delamere.

Escape the urban bustle at Carrickalinga Beach and Horseshoe Bay. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Yankalilla District Historical Museum and Nan Hai Pu Tuo Temple.
